We were appointed by Cheergrey Properties as sustainability consultants to ensure that both BREEAM assessments for this multi-million pound development—during design and post-works completion—obtain a “Very Good” environmental and sustainability rating.
We have been involved throughout the design phase of the project with regular meetings and communication with the client and design team. We have issued updated BREEAM Offices reports summarising the status of the project in terms of its’ sustainability credentials, advising on the future steps to ensure the “Very Good” rating is met. We have provided guidance as to the type of actions required by each design team member and what specifications are needed, as well as the documentation that still needs to be produced.
Particular importance was paid to noise and ventilation issues due to the proximity of the airport, as well as renewable energy.
Conducted a BREEAM Offices Design & Procurement and Post-Construction Assessments and advised on achieving a “Very Good” sustainability rating.
