EcoConsulting has been selected since 2015 as one of the main local trainers & mentors of the SwitchMed Green Entrepreneurship programme in Lebanon. Our role included the following;

•  Main local Trainer/Mentor for the SwitchMed Green Entrepreneurship Programme, Phase I from 2015 to 2019: We organized & co-lead 8 workshop series for over 220 potential eco-entrepreneurs at business Ideation phase with a focus on the circular economy, eco-design, waste revalorization, life-cycle assessment, and climate change adaptation/solutions, and assisted them in the process of developing their Green Business Model or canvas.

• We individually coached 10 selected eco-entrepreneurs with innovative entrepreneurial solutions during the Incubation phase to help them develop their Green Business Plan, each during a period of eight months. We helped them establish themselves and scale up while working in a cross-sectoral way on ensuring that their businesses adhere to SDGs long-term goals, and embed a circular economy model in their way of thinking & operating.

• Main Coordinator & Facilitator of the Technical Coordination Facility in Lebanon for the SwitchMed Phase II Programme from 2020 to 2024, working closely with Fondation Diane as its local implementing lead partner. We were entrusted to establish & facilitate the creation of the EcoSwitch Coalition between different local actors in the entrepreneurial ecosystem to strengthen support to all Lebanese eco-entrepreneurs, whether through technical support, access to specific expertise, access to markets, access to finance, and networking. Over 32 well-established local institutional, NGOs, and corporate companies in the entrepreneurship ecosystems are now actively engaged as Partners of the EcoSwitch Coalition.
