The First National Bank HQ building, which has recently been built in National Museum Area /Beirut, received the LEED Silver certification for green buildings. We have been advising & supporting the design and construction team during the past six years in order to obtain their target LEED certificate.
The project's innovative façade design with fins that provide shading improve its energy performance by reducing cooling loads. Additionally, the façade fills indoor spaces with enough daylight to reduce the need for artificial lights.
Additional sustainable measures include (but are not limited to) water conservation through fixture selection, BMS, Heat Island Effect reduction, improved envelope efficiency, and sustainable construction practices.
